ABOUT THE GROOMER

I’m Steven! I have been a professional dog groomer for over 6 years, and absolutely love my job. I received my certification in 2015 and over the years have apprenticed in a variety of salons, working with and learning from groomers who have been in the industry longer than I've been alive.  

 

My pack consists of my dog Trixie, a pink and blue spotty lady with a princess attitude, my 16 year old grouchy cat Jackson Mississippi, and my step pets Zion the handsome pitty mix and Guillotine the nasty dirt kitty. 

 

I seemed to always end up grooming the "bad dogs”. Dogs who had been banned from a long list of grooming salons due to their behavior learned to tolerate grooming with me. Every dog needs a slightly different approach, and I take the time to learn how they need to be groomed. I have catered my skillset to include more "hard to handle dogs" and that includes senior pets. An older pup shouldn't be expected to handle a grooming as when they were younger, so I take more accommodations into mind with them. I work slowly, carefully, and with your pet's comfort in mind. 

 

I love the fluffy dogs, curly coated, double coated, and anything in-between. I enjoy working with pet parents to keep poodles and doodles fluffy; if you brush your dog at home I will happily brush them out during a groom. I love a grooming challenge! I LOVE creative grooming, like mohawks, mustaches, and fun dye jobs! My pup is always pink and blue.
